If you like classic movies then this one is for you. Fully packed with drama and romantic elements The Apartment is a must watch for the classic film lovers. A story revolving around the young bachelor C.C Baxter who lets his company's executive to use his apartment for trysts, but soon he himself got into complications and fell in love with a lift attendant. The film is full of comic elements which can give us a laugh or two. Although by today's standard the film may seem a bit lengthy for the story. The movie leaves us with positive emotions as tragedy is temporary, teaching us some moral values as well. The movie shows a bit darker side to comedy than some of its contemporaries, movie brings us much more to human themes and issues. It is much deeper in meaning, it deals with adultery, suicide, loneliness, and corporate cutthroats. The Appartment is more of more of a drama than a comedy and balances the two elements perfectly. It gives the moral lessons in satires which makes it more unique. I personally being a classic film lover enjoyed it quite well, it engaged me well for two hours. Although some may find the mid bit lengthy (but that was necessary to build up emotions for the characters). Viewers may enjoy it with their boyfriend/girlfriend or alone (after all loneliness is also a theme of the movie). The movie is entirely concerned on the story, no action scene, chase, special effects are there in the movie.

Concluding it's a must watch for classic lovers. Two hours will be worthy to watch this movie. Considering the magnificent story line and for the classic feel I would give it 8.5 out of 10.
